Saw my childhood love. Didn't sleep for a day and a night. And out fell three pretty quirky songs. One of which was this.

If I was a pencil, I think that I’d be blue.
I’d like to lead a lonely life and end it all with you.

I’d hope that my first owner would give me to a friend,
Who in turn would pass me on, and on until the end.

Gets shorter but not narrower the more that I get old.
